For WYSIWYG which would you guys prefer for Eldar Jetbikes? 40mm round or 60mm round? I ask because the flying bases that come with them are either 30mm or 60mm. :)

    Per INAT:

RB.03B.01 – Q: When models are supplied with
multiple differently sized bases, are players allowed
to choose which base to mount them on?
A: Players must, to the best of their ability, mount models on
the proper base size as dictated by the majority of Games
Workshop hobby materials [clarification]. When in doubt,
contact the tournament organizer for a ruling on a particular
    model.

The majority are now the large flying bases here:

    Use those.

Coolio, it's an exodite army. I'm currently working on it and it won't be painted by September :) Just wanted to know which black stand to use. 60's it is!

Sounds good man! Make sure you maintain your rating. The invitational is coming up and you're going to want to make sure you have a spot!

Yeah, I just noticed that. I might be fielding a different list after all. I think winning one of those is gonna be important so my silly 1,500pt lists are on the shelf till I do. How many RTT's are there after this before the invites go out? Is there one in October? Thanks guys

Yes we have one more open tournament after the September date. Tentative date for that event is October 23rd. Your can check back on the upcoming tourney schedule and results at the "40k: tournament standings" link at the top.

How long does the tournament usually run? I am unfamiliar with the swiss format but I assume the rounds are shorter than in a normal 2k 3 round RTT.
  10. Kevin Nash September 14, 2010 at 10:24 AM
Rounds are 1:45 Each. Dice rolls start at 11:00 AM. With breaks and lunch and awards we're done just before 7 PM.
