Magic the Gathering: M11 Review - Green

Review of unprinted green cards below. The full spoiler is still located here. I also reviewed white, blue, black and red in previous articles.

M11 Review - Green

Autumn's Veil

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

This thing replaces mold adder. Decent out of a limited sideboard to counterspell a doom blade. Great out of a constructed sideboard to hose blue.

Back to Nature

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

An improved tranquility. Sure why not.

Brindle Boar

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

A plague zombies with a mediocre ability. OK filler for limited play. Underpowered in constructed.

Cultivate

Limited - 3
Constructed -3

Kadama's Reach was a tournament staple. This sorcery isn't arcane but other than that it's an identical card. Should see plenty of use in both environments.

Dryad's Favor

Limited - 1
Constructed - 1

No thanks.

Fauna Shaman

Limited - 3
Constructed - 3

The only reason this isn't a top pick is because it doesn't win the game by itself. But if you have any bombs in your deck this essentially becomes a copy. Feel free to splash this thing in limited. In constructed it will probably find a home somewhere.

Gaea's Revenge

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

Major bomb that will win games quickly. In constructed I'm sure it will see some use despite the high casting cost.

Garruk's Companion

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

This is a solid 2 drop but the double green makes it less than exceptional in limited. It's still a solid pick but I wouldn't bother with it early. The trample is only exciting if you have something to buff it with. In constructed this will probably get recruited into mono green somehow.

Garruk's Packleader

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

A solid bomb, take it early and then take as many creatures as you can that will trigger it's ability. Win game.

Greater Basilisk

Limited - 3
Constructed - 1

A quality 5 drop that can stare down cards significantly more powerful. A great addition to any limited green card pool.

Hornet Sting

Limited - 2
Constructed -1

Might have sideboard ramifications in limited since green has otherwise of removing problem utility creatures.

Hunter's Feast

Limited - 1
Constructed - 2

Maybe a fun multiplayer card. Stay far away from this in draft.

Leyline of Vitality

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

This could be a game breaker in limited if you have the right creatures, especially red or green. For constructed it might be a nice utility card out of the board. I'm not as impressed wtih this leyline as the other's however.

Mitotic Slime

Limited - 4
Constructed - 4

A large creature at a reasonable cost that continues to annoy opponents well after they have removed it. First pick.

Obstinate Baloth

Limited - 3
Constructed - 3

A solid beast for 4 mana. Even better out of the sideboard against discard hate.

Overwhelming Stampede

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

This card isn't as good as overrun but it's close and in some instances it can be better. For the limited player it's just as much of a bomb, just make sure you marry it to some decent creatures.

Plummet

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

Decent green hate. Will see more use in limited than constructed.

Primal Cocoon

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

It's essentially a +1/+1 counter that is delayed. In limited it could get out of hand for an opponent that doesn't respect it. Too slow for constructed.

Primeval Titan

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

A good titan just like the rest of them. I think it's ability isn't as good as the other colors though. Land fetch is great early but do you really need more land once this thing gets into play?

Sacred Wolf

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

Pincer beetles was a decent guard back in the day and this thing is an improvement since it's controller can target it. It's a lot better with buff effects though.

Sylvan Ranger

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

Not as good as it's cousin the borderland ranger but I can't argue with early mana fix and card advantage. This is also an elf.

Wall of Vines

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

Not really a fan of walls without power. That said if you have zero ways of dealing with fliers this might be of use to your limited green deck.

Magic the Gathering: M11 Review - Red

Here is my review of the previously unprinted red cards. The full spoiler is still located here. I also reviewed white, blue and black in previous articles.

M11 Review - Red

Ancient Hellkite

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

Incredible limited bomb but beware the triple red casting cost in draft. This won't be constructed viable because it can't block or attack through a Baneslayer Angel. At least it doesn't die to it.

Arc Runner

Limited - 1
Constructed - 2

I don't like Ball Lightning cards in limited unless you can stack multiples in a deck. This isn't nearly as good as a lava axe in draft because it doesn't have trample. I don't think it's worth taking.

Bloodcrazed Goblin

Limited - 1
Constructed - 1

This card sucks. It requires you to discard cards to attack. No thanks.

Chandra's Outrage

Limited - 4
Constructed - 2

A limited house that kills a significant amount of common threats. Too pricey for constructed. Maybe out of the board to kill specific creatures if you need a way to deal with 4 toughness.

Chandra's Spitfire

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

This card is playable just because it has flying. If you can get the ability to trigger that's an added bonus.

Combust

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

A fine sideboard card for any format: limited or constructed.

Cyclops Gladiator

Limited - 3
Constructed - 4

This is a surprisingly beefy creature for red considering it's cheap mana cost and I think it will end up in some standard decks. It's only drawback in limited is the commitment required to red but once in play it will just take over the game. If you are playing RDW I think this is worth looking at for the top of the curve.

Destructive Force

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

This will see play because it murders Baneslayer Angel and otherwise untouchable Sphinxes. It also keeps things like Titan's and Hellkites on the table. Has potential in constucted. First pick in limited, just make sure you have enough mana in your deck to pay for it.

Earth Servant

Limited - 4
Constructed - 2

Good luck trying to get past this thing in limited play. It completely locks up the ground and isn't too shabby on offense either. Too expensive for constructed.

Ember Hauler

Limited - 3
Constructed - 3

A bear that doubles as a shock? Sign me up.

Fire Servant

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

If you draft correctly this thing is an absolute house. It allows Lightning Bolts to murder titans and hellkites and transforms fireballs into vicious finishers. I'm concerned it won't last long enough on the table in constructed to be useful but If you can protect it a viable deck could be built around this.

Hoarding Dragon

Limited - 4
Constructed - 2

This thing is a bomb in limited with our without an artifact. 4/4 flyers tend to be a problem for any opponent. If you can grab an artifact then that's just an added bonus. Seems hokey for constructed but maybe somebody will find a cool soft combo for this.

Incite

Limited - 2
Constructed -1

Sideboard card for limited. Maybe.

Inferno Titan

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

Another great card from the titan family. Card advantage attached to a giant body. First pick. Probably shows up in constructed decks too.

Leyline of Punishment

Limited - 1
Constructed - 3

The foil to Leyline of Sanctity. Will show up in constructed sideboards frequently.

Manic Vandal

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

Uktabi Orangutan for red. Very nice in limited if your opponent has artifacts you're concerned with. Will see plenty of constructed play, especially if there are brown decks running around in standard.

Pyretic Ritual

Limited - 1
Constructed - 2

Solid combo enabler. Jury is out if combo exists in standard constructed. Not sure why WOTC prints this kind of stuff at common though. Don't put this in your limited deck, the card advantage lost isn't worth the tempo in a format like that.

Reverberate

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

A nice fork reprint. It's actually better in some ways since it retains the original color. Remember this card doesn't stand on it's own and is only as good as the card it is copying. Draft accordingly.

Thunder Strike

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

This is a decent removal card for and is playable in limited. It's not as exciting as burn though. It's also not a giant growth. Pick it late and hope it doesn't make your deck.

Volcanic Strength

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

Giant strength is a limited staple and this thing is even better in a mirror match. Might find it's way into some standard sideboards as well.

Wild Evocation

Limited - 1
Constructed - 2

I'm sure someone will come up with a crazy deck that makes this work for them. That someone won't be me however.

Magic the Gathering: M11 Review - Black

Here is the M11 review for the newly printed black cards. You can find the full spoiler here. I also reviewed white and blue previously.

M11 Review - Black

Barony Vampire

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

Very playable in limited as a solid three drop. Underwhelming for constructed.

Blood Tithe

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

This was designed for multiplayer but I don't think it's totally worthless as a ghetto lave axe in limited. It might make my deck as a 23rd spell if it's in the card pool and I'm scrounging for filler.

Captivating Vampire

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

This is a casual card more than anything else. It's not as good as it's predecessor Vampire Nocturnus but I suppose you could stack them in a vampire deck for tribal wars. In limited it's a solid pick if you have multiple vampires in your deck. Otherwise it's a plague zombies.

Dark Tutelage

Limited - 1
Constructed - 3

Dark Confidant but more difficult to remove. Dark Confidant is sick, especially in older formats. This card will likely see similar treatment.

Demon of Death's Gate

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

This card is a silly result of top down design. More fluff than substance. That said it's still a 9/9 flying trampler that doesn't die to doom blade. If you can get it into play you win the game. The problem is it costs 9 mana. Not cheap.

Grave Titan

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

All the titans are good. This one continues the theme. He's a house in limited play and no slouch in constructed either. If he even attacks once it's already out of hand for your opponent as he creates an army of zombie tokens.

Lilian's Caress

Limited - 1
Constructed - 2

A reprinted megrim with a cheaper casting cost. Megrim isn't very good in duels but has a place in multiplayer. This card probably won't see much play either outside of kitchen tables.

Liliana's Specter

Limited - 3
Constructed - 3

Better in multiplayer but also playable in constructed. I really like this card as a limited pick. It's substantial enough to be a threat, generates card advantage, and difficult to get rid of because of the evasion.

Necrotic Plague

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

This is a good card when you don't have creatures in play and fanstastic when you are running tokens. It's not so great when you have creatures you care about. That makes it an interesting card in constructed and less exciting in limited. I suppose it is a Wrath of God over several turns...that can't be too bad right?

Nether Horror

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

Giant Cockroach saw play in limited. This thing can hit hard and fills the 4 slot. Playable in that format.

Nightwing Shade

Limited - 3
Constructed - 1

This thing can get out of hand in a hurry. It's a sizeable flyer that can murder sphinxes and lesser angels. The mana cost is substantial so it's not a first pick, but I'd be pleased to have this thing in my limited deck.

Phylactery Lich

Limited - 1
Constructed - 3

I love this card because it's so powerful and has such cool fluff. It will see play in older formats, especially where artifact-lands are legal. It probably won't do much in standard but I won't rule it out as a soft combo. Don't bother in sealed deck you'll never get to play it when you need to.

Quag Sickness

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

Quality removal for limited. Doesn't discriminate based on color. Requires a significant black commitment but perfectly suitable for a two color deck.

Reassembling Skeleton

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

It's not a thrilling creature but if you have equipment cards this thing can become extermely annoying. Graveyard recursion is difficult to stop in limited play. I like that you can re-animate it at any time.

Rotting Legion

Limited - 3
Constructed - 1

Awesome fluff for a slow yet steady beater. The drawback is annoying but a heck of a lot better than "cannot block". This thing is too slow for constructed.

Stabbing Pain

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

A decent limited pick that can tempo large critters and kill annoying small one's. Only useful in constructed if black is really looking for cheap removal in a specfic metagame. It's no darkblast.

Viscera Seer

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

It's ability is less thrilling since damage no longer goes on the stack. It's still a nice way to set up a limited deck though.

Magic the Gathering: M11 Review - Blue

Our initial M11 Review of the newly printed white cards was here. You can find the entire spoiler of the set over at WOTC's site here.

Blue got a number of new cards int his set. Far more than white did. I've ranked the new printing below. An explanation of the rating can be found in the previous review article. Here are the new cards below:

Aether Adept

Limited - 4
Constructed - 4

This is a top pick in limited and should be plenty of constructed play as well. Man-o'-War was a constructed staple back when it was legal in standard. This card is not splash-able and therefore powerful because of the casting cost but will still see plenty of play.

Air Servant

Limited - 3
Constructed - 1

A nice beater in limited with a really powerful ability. It's a 5 cc creature that dies to lightning bolt though so don't expect it to show up in constructed decks.

Armored Cancrix

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

A playable limited card that can lock up the ground. Nothing special here.

Augury Owl

Limited - 3
Constructed - 3

I really like this card. Sage owl was always so close to being good and this near reprint fixes it. Lot's of potential here and it might even see constructed play.

Call to Mind

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

Might be useful in limited if you have a really powerful spell worth returning. That's unlikely though and I wouldn't spend any high picks on it. This thing will get restricted in Vintage. I'm envisioning ancestral recall and time walk abuse here.

Conundrum Sphinx

Limited - 3
Constructed - 3

A potent efficient flyer with an interesting ability begging to be abused. Good in either format but for different reasons. In limited it's just a big body that flies. In constructed it's a card drawing tool.

Diminish

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

A decent removal option in limited for just about any deck. In constructed it offers a way for blue to deal with creatures they might not otherwise be able to handle. A decent sideboard card.

Frost Titan

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

This thing is absurd in limited because it stomps all over the battlefield and locks up your opponents best creatures while doing it. In constructed it also could see play despite it's high casting cost. I like this card.

Harbor Serpent

Limited - 3
Constructed - 1

Nothing special here for constructed. It costs to much to be a threat to any blue mages. For limited play it is very good if you have the islands to support it. Then it's a nasty beater and will crush enemies with islands.

Jace's Erasure

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

Remains to be seen if mill decks will be viable in either format. As with any mill card, it's only good if it's supported by other mill effects and essentially does nothing to your opponent until you mill the last card.

Jace's Ingenuity

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

Concentrate was a potent card in any format. This card despite the extra colorless mana is probably better since it's an instant. I'd pick this high if I had the chance and I'd be surprised if this didn't make an impact in constructed.

Leyline of Anticipation

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

Building a deck around this card would be very difficult to pull off in limited. Much easier to do in constructed. I'm not sure how people would use this effectively, but dropping massive creatures into play in the end step seems powerful to me. This is a strong combo enabler and maybe it will show up in extended or something.

Maritime Guard

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

Pretty much filler. At least it's a merfolk.

Mass Polymorph

Limited - 1
Constructed - 3

Looks like a combo deck to me. Good look getting it to work. Spawn tokens and Eldrazi come to mind.

Merfolk Spy

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

I suppose the islandwalk is useful out of a limited sideboard. 1/1 creatures with obscure abilities that don't generate card advantage don't really interest me.

Phantom Beast

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

Illusionary Servant wasn't a terrible card. This one is similar but better on defense than offense. Might have some constructed use in a sideboard against creature heavy decks with little removal. Probably not though.

Preordain

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

Solid library manipulation at an affordable price. Put it down next to Ponder in terms of usability. Will see play in many constructed decks, maybe even vintage.

Redirect

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

A nice combat trick in any deck with heavy blue. I think it's mainly a sideboard card in any format however.

Scroll Thief

Limited - 3
Constructed - 3

This card is outstanding if you have the means of triggering it's ability. It's not as good as Shadowmage Infiltrator since it doesn't have evasion but Ophidian was pretty good back in the day. Nothing wrong with this card now. If you draft make sure you have a way to either evade blockers or make this thing bigger. In constructed combo with Aether Adept for significant opponent frustration.

Stormtide Leviathan

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

Looks fantastic but I have no idea how we're supposed to get this thing into play by actually casting it. Worth a shot in limited if you can support the triple blue casting cost. In constructed it could be combo piece, especially in re-animator.

Time Reversal

Limited - 1
Constructed - 3

So this is another attempt at Timetwister which WOTC has rightfully decided isn't near the power level of ancestral recall and time walk. Still will probably show up in some combo decks at the vintage level. Otherwise worthless to the rest of us. Maybe try 4 of these in a deck stuffed with burn. That might have potential.

Water Servant

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

This thing is quite good in limited and almost impossible to get rid of. If it had evasion is would be an amazing bomb. As it stands it's just very good for limited play. In constructed it's probably too pricey to have much of an impact on the format.

Blue got a number of powerful constructed cards from M11, especially in the older formats. I think it's safe to say Aether Adept is the most powerful new printing in the color. Decks running blue will be using this thing, it's just a matter of determining how many.

Magic the Gathering: M11 Review - White

I thought I'd put together a brief review of all the new cards that appear in M11. You can find the full spoiler here. I do a rating system that splits cards into both limited and constructed values. Here is how the value system breaks down.

4: Bomb. Should see significant play in the format. Will see play in constructed decks. A first pick in draft and worth building a deck around in sealed.

3: Good. Should see play in constructed, even if only as a powerful sideboard option or combo piece. High limited pick but not necessarily worth splashing for.

2: Playable. Worth using if you are already in the color or need filler for your deck. Might have constructed ramifications in specific decks or sideboards in a certain meta.

1: Poor. Avoid this card if you're trying to win. If it's in your deck you're either doing it wrong or playing a casual deck.

I'll start with White and I'll be updating additional colors going forward.

M11 Review - White

Ajani's Mantra

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

I see this as more of a stalling technique in limited over anything else. Might be useful in decks where life races are relevant. I wouldn't main deck it. In constructed it's a sideboard card at best, and only in formats where Red deck wins is prevalent and better hate options aren't available.

Ajani's Pridemate

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

Pretty cool bear that has a neat ability when combined with the right cards. In limited the combo is tough to pull off consistently without forcing bad cards into your deck. In constructed there is more flexibility here and it might be solid but it requires support cards to make it good.

Angelic Arbiter

Limited - 4
Constructed - 2

It's a big giant flying Angel that trumps almost anything in the air. Top limited pick. If it hits the battlefield you win. In Constructed it might see play but the casting cost might be prohibitive. Could see some use out of the board.

Assault Griffin

Limited - 3
Constructed - 1

Snapping Drake for white. Great in limited. Too expensive in constructed.

Cloud Crusader

Limited - 3
Constructed - 1

Another functional reprint. Great in limited. Over-costed in constructed.

Inspired Charge

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

A mediocre combat trick in limited but way too expensive for constructed.

Knight Exemplar

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

I'm looking forward to playing this in a knight deck for tribal wars. Certainly playable in limited since first strike is a really good ability in that format.

Leyline of Sanctity

Limited - 1
Constructed - 3

Looks like sideboard hate against burn or discard decks. This should see a lot of play in constructed sideboards.

Mighty Leap
Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

Combat tricks like this are really neat in limited and basically count as removal. Unlikely to see play in constructed but I could see it showing up in some sideboards.

Roc Egg

Limited - 2
Constructed - 1

I really don't like cards like this. By themselves they do absolutely nothing and they often rely on your opponent to make a mistake. If you can combo it with a sacrifice effect it's probably playable.

Serra Ascendant

Limited - 1
Constructed - 2

I think you'll have a really hard time making this guy good in limited play. In constructed he could be fun in a goofy combo deck, but he looks like a casual card to me unless some really high quality life gain cards show up in constructed that we were going to use anyway.

Squadron Hawk

Limited - 2
Constructed - 2

The 1/1 body is less interesting than the card advantage it yields. If you can get multiples of these in limited play by all means use them. In constructed I see it looks more like a combo piece to me than a creature.

Sun Titan

Limited - 4
Constructed - 3

A giant body with a potent ability. Should see play in lots of formats.

Tireless Missionaries

Limited - 1
Constructed - 1

This is a bad card. Do not play it.

Vengeful Archon

Limited - 3
Constructed - 2

The only problem with this card in limited is the triple white mana cost. It's a sure thing is sealed deck but I might not take it as a top pick in draft. In constructed it's probably too expensive but might see play in re-animator or something similar.

War Priest of Thune

Limited - 2
Constructed - 3

This will be a sideboard staple if there are threatening enchantments to kill.

So a pretty decent selection of new cards for white here. Some quality limited cards are in there and some very large expensive creatures that could have an impact on constructed. There are plenty of notable reprints as well. Baneslayer Angel is back, Pacifism is reprinted, White Knight, Day of Judgement and Condemn.

Classic Tribal Wars: Rats

I have a particular affinity for the rats tribe. It's a tribe with a ton of fluff and flavor. There are a large number of legends to choose from, and the discard sub-theme is a potent way of maintaining board control with otherwise sub-optimal and tiny creatures.

Some of these cards are powerful in any deck. Ravenous rats has been a tournament staple for years: Elegant card advantage attached to a 1/1 body. The legends have also seen some play, Ink-Eyes is a bomb and in this format is almost always going to have something good to grab out of a graveyard, especially if you just forced your opponent to dump a pricey creature with Hymn to Tourach. The Nezumi's are both quality cards that leverage board strength while generating card advantage as well. The Cuthroat can finish an opponent all by himself without even attacking while flipped to legendary form.

For removal options black has plenty to choose from. Nameless inversion is a good choice for this format as it can kill mid size creatures and then wipe any buff effects generated by tribe bonuses as well. The Disk is pretty much required in any mono-black deck as we have otherwise no other options for dealing with nasty show stoppers like Story Circle or problematic artifacts. Crypt rats are an earthquake/hurricane on a stick. I'm a big fan of creatures that double as removal in this format. It keeps those precious removal slots in play for either more removal or toys to help the cause.

I crammed Sword of Fire and Ice into this deck. I think the buff effect is necessary with so many small bodies. The +2/+2 is nice of course, but the card draw and removal aspect makes it one of the best equipments legal in this format.

Classic Tribal Wars - Rats

Creatures

3 Sewer Rat
3 Nezumi Graverobber
3 Nezumi Shortfang
4 Ravenous Rats
3 Crypt Rats
3 Marrow-Gnawer
2 Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni

Spells

4 Nameless Inversion
4 Hymn to Tourach
3 Sword of Fire and Ice
3 Nevinyrall's Disk

Land

1 Pendelhaven
1 Shizo, Death's Storehouse
2 Swarmyard
2 Mutavault
2 Wasteland
4 Verdant Catacombs
2 Bloodstained Mire
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
10 Swamp

Rounding out the land we see staples like Wasteland and Mutavault (with fear!). I like Swarmyard and will always use this land when applicable in tribal wars. Pendelhaven is a nice touch here with so many 1/1 creatures available.

Rats are small but the disruption results of discard spells can be brutal to an opponent. If you can wipe their hand early they will have no answers to your endless horde of rodents.

Classic Tribal Wars: Djinns

Djinn are another set of genies in the M:TG universe that initially had a big presence in Arabian Nights and have seen some limited support since then. They have decent support as a creature type but suffer from being lumbering in terms of overall casting cost. This is not an insurmountable problem. This deck plays like a control deck with a significant amount of land. It looks to curb threats early on and then take over the game late.

Thoughtseize is used here to keep this deck in the game early. It can take out early threats, removal that my opponent will use or to protect our Nevinyrall's disk before we get a chance to use it.

Spells

4 Agony Warp
2 Loxodon Warhammer
3 Nevinyrall's Disk
3 Thoughtseize

Creatures

4 Fledgling Djinn
4 Old Man of the Sea
4 Juzam Djinn
4 Djinn of Wishes
4 Mahomotti Djinn

Land

4 Polluted Delta
4 Watery Grave
4 Underground Sea
4 Creeping Tar Pit
1 Diamond Valley
2 Wasteland
1 Reflecting Pool
4 Swamp
4 Island

For our creature base we have a host of Djinn's at our disposal. Fledling Djinn and it's elder brother Juzaam are cheap efficient beaters. Djinn of Wishes and Mahomotti fill up the top of the curve. Old Man of the Sea was ret-conned to be a Djinn and this deck takes advantage of that as it fits nicely into the 3 slot of the curve. We have some tricks we can use with his ability: Combat tricks with Agony Warp are something we can pull off if we desire; like stealing a more powerful creature and then feeding it to our diamond valley, or stealing an enemy blocker and feeding it to an incoming attacker. An equipped Loxodon Warhammer can also let us grab something more substantial, or we can just beat face with it and recoup any life lost from the dark djinn's in our employ.

If you can stay alive early the massive genies can take over the game. A resolved Djinn of wishes with mana to spare can wreak havoc on an opponent. Using the ability to dump expensive attackers into play, even during an opponents turn can overwhelm an them quickly.

Genies are potent creatures. This deck lets us maximize their abilities and exploits them for our amusement!
