Have it clearly labeled that your entry is also forfiet should you show up with an unpainted army (army, not a single model). But that's just me. Maybe it's my GW GT experience and growing up in the 2nd-3rd edition mindset but I can only remember a single unpainted Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207001701749452948.post-40250320531508337052010-10-31T22:48:20.107-07:002010-10-31T22:48:20.107-07:00It is for some. We incentivize painting with awards and if I do a Renaissance man award if will indeed include painting as well meaning a significant portion of the available winnings will be tied to painting prowess. I've never seen a TO enforce painted only at a GT anyway. The last two I participated in required painting and then I was looking at gray models on the otherKevin Nashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07503985277633882927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207001701749452948.post-55526748475439810542010-10-31T20:03:32.361-07:002010-10-31T20:03:32.361-07:00Painting not required? I just think for a 2-day event that it's a showcase for the hobby and that having a painted army (even if it sucks) is part of that hobby.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
